Miss Keri began working at AppleTree in 2008. She has her Child Development Associates Certificate and over 20 years of experience in the field. Keri’s favorite part of working at AppleTree is “Getting sweet little hugs and watching the children grow.” When Keri has free time she enjoys spending it with her family.

Miss Jaci began working at AppleTree shortly after we opened in 2006 through 2011 when she moved away. She rejoined our team earlier this year (2012). Jaci has her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and over 9 years of experience in childcare. When asked, she says her favorite part of working at AppleTree is “Seeing all of the happy smiles and getting hugs from the children.” In her free time, Jaci enjoys playing with her dog and taking photos.

Miss Johnna joined our AppleTree team in 2011, after moving to Illinois from Missouri. She has over 20 years of experience in childcare. Johnna loves working at AppleTree, she says her favorite part is “Being with the children and playing.” When she isn’t working, Johnna loves to spend time with her family.

Miss Jackie has been with AppleTree since we opened in 2006. She has her CDA (Child Development Associates Certificate) along with 14 years of experience in the field. Jackie’s favorite part of working at ATA is watching the children grow and learn. When she’s not at AppleTree, Jackie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.

Miss Kasey has been with AppleTree since 2007. She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood and 5 years of experience. When asked, Miss Kasey says her favorite part of teaching at ATA is “Seeing the kids every day.” When she isn’t working Kasey enjoys spending time with her family.

Miss Wawa has been working at AppleTree since 2007. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Nutrition at Bradley, and she has 7 years of experience in childcare. Wawa says that all the silly things the children do and say make working at AppleTree so much fun. When she isn’t having fun at AppleTree she can be found having fun shopping.

Miss Shantel has been working at AppleTree since 2008. She has her Associates Degree in Child Development, along with 14 years of experience in child care. When asked, Shantel says the best part of working at AppleTree is “Seeing the children learn new things.” When she is not at work, Shantel spends her days crafting and traveling.

Miss Jessica joined the AppleTree team in 2010. She has her Child Development Associates Certificate and 11 years of experience in childcare. Jessica says “Watching the children grasp new concepts” is her favorite part of teaching at AppleTree. When Jessica is not working, she enjoys doing craft projects and hanging out with friends.

Miss Stacey has been with AppleTree since 2008. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, along with 8 years of experience in childcare. Stacey says her favorite part of working at ATA is “Doing messy art projects.” When she is not at AppleTree, Stacey enjoys traveling the world.

Miss Karen has been with AppleTree from the start in 2006. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood along with 13 years of experience. Karen says her favorite thing to do at AppleTree is to “Plan fun centers for my preschool class to play in.” When Karen is not at ATA, she enjoys going for a run with her dog and practicing yoga.

Mr. Broc came to AppleTree in 2011. He is currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. Broc has 4 years of experience in childcare. When asked, Broc says “I love being able to apply what I have learned in my undergrad career to the classroom.” When he is not at AppleTree or class, Broc enjoys shopping and spending money with his wife.

Miss Kim has been a substitute for our team since 2007. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology along with over 10 years of childcare experience. Kim loves being able to work with all different age groups here at AppleTree. Hanging out with her family is Kim’s favorite way to spend her free time.

Miss Denise moved here from Iowa and began working at AppleTree in 2008. She has 20 years of experience in the childcare field. Denise loves working at AppleTree, she says her favorite part is “Developing relationships with the children and their families.” In her free time Denise loves going to the movies.

Miss Chelsey began working at AppleTree in 2010. She has her Associates Degree in Social Work and she is currently attending cosmetology school. Chelsey has 7 years of experience in childcare. Her favorite part of teaching at ATA is being able to use creativity in creating lesson plans. When Chelsey is not at ATA she enjoys hanging out with friends and painting her nails.

Miss Kim joined the AppleTree team in 2008. She has her Associate’s Degree in Child Development and over 27 years of experience. Kim’s favorite part of working at AppleTree is watching the children grow. When Kim is not working, she enjoys traveling with her husband and going to Disney.

Miss Britni started working at ATA in 2009. She is very close to completing her coursework for an Associates Degree in Child Development. In total Britni has 7 years of childcare experience. Her favorite part of working at AppleTree is being able to do art and craft projects with the children. When she is not at work, Britni enjoys spending time playing with her son.

Miss Camille has been with AppleTree since 2006 (the year we opened). She has her Bachelors in Elementary Education and over 10 years of experience in childcare. Camille enjoys working with the kids of AppleTree, she says that they are her favorite part. When Camille is not at ATA, she likes to read a good book.

Miss Penny joined the AppleTree team earlier this year (2012). She has a Ministry Degree and is currently working towards her Bachelor’s Degree in English. Penny has 4 years of experience in childcare. When asked what her favorite part of working at AppleTree is, Miss Penny said “I love watching the children experience new things, it’s never dull.” Penny spends her free time with her husband and she loves to read.

Miss Abby is our newest member to the AppleTree staff, she officially came on board in August (2012). Abby is a student at Dunlap High School, who plans to study Psychology in college. Abby has experience volunteering with the children at her church. Her favorite part of working at AppleTree is “Getting to watch the children interact with each other.” Abby enjoys reading and listening to music.
